Heavy Thunderstorm
Three hours of a heavy wilderness thunderstorm, with pouring rain, wind, thunder and lightning over forests and waterfalls, for sleep.
About this soundscape
Heavy rain pours onto vegetation and rivers while thunder rolls, lightning flashes and the wind picks up. Every scene is wilderness, with forests, waterfalls and mountains caught in one huge storm, all over three hours.
It's made for falling asleep to, especially if you like your storms loud and dramatic rather than far away. Keep the volume modest and the thunder becomes part of the backdrop.
How to listen
Speakers are fineNatural sound needs no headphones. A speaker by the bed fills the room more gently.
Keep it lowJust loud enough to cover traffic, neighbours or a snoring partner.
Let it run all nightA steady sound that doesn't stop is easier to sleep through than one that ends and wakes you.
The video contains flashing lightning.
