Powerful Thunder and Rain
A nine-hour storm of heavy rain and deep, distant thunder, with a 1 to 1.5 Hz delta binaural beat underneath for a full night's sleep.
About this soundscape
Steady, heavy rainfall carries on through the night, with deep rumbles of distant thunder rolling in. Beneath the storm sits a delta binaural beat between 1 Hz and 1.5 Hz, and the whole thing runs for nine hours uninterrupted.
The rain works like pink noise, so many people play it to cover background noise in the house. It also suits meditation or simply winding down. For the binaural beat, wear headphones, otherwise the storm works perfectly well through a speaker.
How to listen
Use headphonesA binaural beat only works when each ear hears its own tone. Through speakers the beat disappears.
Keep it quietJust loud enough to cover the room. Lower is better for sleep.
Start it in bedLights off, eyes closed, and let it play through. Give it ten minutes before you judge it.
