Rain and Distant Thunder, Alpha
Nine hours of steady rain and soft distant thunder over an alpha binaural beat, made for calm focus while you work, study or read.
About this soundscape
Steady rainfall and soft thunder far off in the distance sit over an alpha binaural beat in the 8 to 12 Hz range. It runs for nine hours without a break, and the screen fades to black after ten minutes.
It's built for long stretches of work or study, journaling or reading, when you want something calm in the background. Wear headphones for the binaural beat, as each ear needs its own tone.
How to listen
Use headphonesA binaural beat only works when each ear hears its own tone. Through speakers the beat disappears.
Keep it in the backgroundLow enough that you stop noticing it. It's there to hold your attention steady, not to grab it.
Work in blocksPick one task and give it 25 to 50 minutes, then take a short break away from the screen.
