Left-Right Brain Activation
Eight minutes of shamanic drumming that moves between your left and right ears, often used alongside EMDR therapy and meditation.

About this soundscape
Shamanic drum rhythms alternate between the left and right ears for eight minutes. That left-right movement is what's known as bilateral sound.
It's often used alongside EMDR therapy, and also for meditation, breathwork or yoga. Wear headphones so each side comes through properly. As it's short, it fits easily into a session or a quiet break.
How to listen
Use headphonesThe sound moves from one ear to the other. On speakers you lose the left-right movement.
Start with short sessionsTen to twenty minutes is plenty at first. Stop if it doesn't feel right.
Alongside therapy, not insteadIf you're working with an EMDR therapist, ask them how they'd like you to use it.
