EMDR for Grounding and Balance
Five minutes of gentle chanting and ethnic drumming that moves from left to right, made as bilateral music for grounding and balance.

About this soundscape
Gentle layers of chanting sit over deep ethnic drumming, with the sound moving steadily from left to right and back. It lasts about five minutes, and the pacing stays smooth with nothing intrusive.
Left-right music like this is often used alongside EMDR therapy, and on its own for mindful breathing, journaling or a short pause in the day. Headphones are needed so you hear the movement between ears. The short length makes it easy to fit in.
How to listen
Use headphonesThe sound moves from one ear to the other. On speakers you lose the left-right movement.
Start with short sessionsTen to twenty minutes is plenty at first. Stop if it doesn't feel right.
Alongside therapy, not insteadIf you're working with an EMDR therapist, ask them how they'd like you to use it.
